Trying to add widgets to my post pages and home page

    Right now the widgets for my blog are only appearing on my “About the Blog” page. I want to add my instagram widget to my home page as well as my post pages. From what I’ve gathered after looking through the wordpress support page, I should be able to do this by clicking the “visibility” button for the widgets that I want to be shared on other pages. I’ve tried using this option but nothing ever shows up on any pages other than the “About the Blog” page.
    Am I missing a step? or is the AutoFocus theme for my blog the reason why I have restricted widgets.

    Are you sure you are using a theme that displays the sidebar everywhere?
