Trying to allow a WordPress site hosted on GoDaddy to be connected to WordPress.com
-
I have set up my GoDaddy hosted website with an SSL certificate. I tried to connect it to WordPress.com through JetPAck, but was not able to connect. I have removed JetPAck for now.
how can I connect WordPress.com to my website so that I can use it with my WordPress.com account?
The error that I got when trying to connect JetPack was:
WordPress.com was unable to reach your site and approve the connection. Try again by clicking the button above; if that doesn’t work you may need to contact support.Error Details
cURL error 60: SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name ‘oath.coach’I tried to contact JetPack email support, but their email support page loops through through clicking the ‘login’ page and the ‘not logged in: please log in’ page even when I’m logged in through WordPress.com.

Hi there, you have to use JetPack to connect your site to a WordPress.com account.
You should post your question in the Jetpack forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/
You would have to reactivate Jetpack and try some of these options.
– Use a different browser and try connecting again.
-Try clearing your browser history, cache, and cookies.
– Deactivate other plugins and try reconnecting through Jetpack Plugin.
If that works you can start reactivating your plugins. The JetPack contact link: https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support
Here is a link for JetPack troubleshooting tips. https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/
Hope this helps 😎
