Trying to apply for WordAds

I upgrade to Premium Plan for my WordPress.com blog, will I be eligible to apply for WordAds? I’m getting about 4000 page view per day, and on a good day, about 5000 views. I’m not sure if monetization is smart quite yet. Any input from you would be very helpful! Thanks!

Hi there,
I see you already have a Preimum Plan on that site, but all you actually need to apply for WordAds is to have a custom domain connected to the site. If you visit https://wordads.co/signup/ you should see your site listed there and can apply from there.
If your traffic is high enough and your site meets the other criteria it should be approved automatically, and ads will start displaying soon thereafter. Note that once you’re approved you can switch ads off at any time if you prefer.
As for whether monetization is smart…that’s really up to you. Adding WordAds won’t cost you anything, and you can make at least some income from it, so if you don’t mind ads showing on your site there’s no reason not to apply :)

If you already applied you can’t apply again. Once you apply the application stays in our system, and I can see your application there, so you don’t need to reapply.
Approval happens automatically once you have enough traffic on your site.
