Trying to cancel an upgrade
-
Hi,
I am trying to cancel a mapping upgrade but I get a message saying I can’t delete a domain registered at WordPress.com, therefore I must contact support to cancel the upgrade.
I am cancelling this upgrade because I missed the date to upgrade my domain (lorenaleandro.com) and someone else bought it. So I no longer wish to redirect my content at aoprincipiante.wordpress.com to that domain.
Could you please help me cancelling the mapping for my blog and getting a refund?
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@lorenaleandro
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
When you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade what do you see in these two locations please?
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

Do no hijack threads other bloggers post. Use this link to create your own thread please https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1 -
@timethief the assumption that I am trying to hijack a thread is extremely rude and uncalled for. Please note that this is my first time on a WP Thread and I just needed some help.

Hi again,
What I posted is neither rude nor is it uncalled for. It’s stated at the top of the support forums in the sticky posts on yellow backgrounds that we are expected to read before posting:
Avoid asking off-topic questions in existing threads. Everyone wants their question answered. Staff and volunteers can better answer your question if you start your own thread.https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/wordpresscom-forums-community-standards?replies=1
You do not have the same expired domain mapping issue as the original poster. Please start a new thread so we can help you in it.

@ijetheworldtraveler, I’ve removed Custom Design for you so you will no longer see notices about the upgrade expiring.
And I can understand how it would seem this comment was on-topic with cancelling an upgrade, since that’s what you’re trying to do.
Generally, if staff needs to give specific attention to your account, we’d call that one issue, so it’s easiest for each person to start their own thread. That way the original poster doesn’t have to be notified every time someone else has a similar question.
But what’s easier than that still is just to reach out to us in chat, which is available to you during business hours if you have an upgrade:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/contactI’ll go ahead and close this thread since the original issue is resolved. Cheers, all.
