Trying to cancel domain

  Hello,
  I am trying to cancel my domain for 8bitmomo.com.

  It should have renewed on the 17th January but for some reason it renewed early and took the payment, I’ve been trying to cancel it within the two days and it says it is eligible for a refund. Whenever I go ahead to cancel it it says “upgrade cannot be cancelled”

  I found a previous thread that says you have to be logged in as admin and I am.

  Please can staff help me cancel and refund, as I believe staff are off till the 4th January then it’s too late for a refund?

  Hi there,

  So that we are on the same page, once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

  I want to cancel mine. Artofconsequence.net … cant cancel myself tho doesn’t renew for 2 weeks. Not sure why. Buut please cancel. I

  @tcporter,

  I see that Artofconsequence.net was renewed for 2/8/17. Were you still wanting it deleted?

  If so, I’ll issue you a refund as well. Let me know, thanks!
