Trying to cancel my domain

    Hi, I’m trying to cancel my domain becomingstina.com. I was charged today for an auto-renewal but I would like to cancel this and get a refund. The cancellation link that was emailed to me does not work. Please cancel my domain and provide a refund. Thank you.

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

    Note that when we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you so the domain URL will not be lost.

    I can definitely cancel becomingstina.com for you.

    So that we are on the same page, once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

    Yes, I’d like to cancel becomingstina.com and becomingstina.wordpress.com as well and would like a refund for the auto-renewal. Thank you!
