Trying to change administration email address

Hi there,
I’m one of the admins at thepantheronline.com. We’re trying to change the ‘Administration Email Address’ from ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff).’ When we try to change it within the ‘Settings’ tab, a pop-up says it will send ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ confirmation email to confirm the changes. It does not do this.We are trying to configure the DNS on a Google database called Google search console. However, we can’t configure the DNS without the WordPress log in info and we can’t login because it won’t change our Administration Email Address to ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff).’ Please let me know if there is a way to get around this.

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. The confirmation email you’re looking for is not being sent from us, but from your WordPress installation on your hosting provider’s server.
Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
