Trying to change color
-
I picked the theme “DePo Masthead” for my site as I enjoy the way it is laid out.
Now, the theme is filtered under “red” when picking a theme because all links are in red as are most things put onto the site.
I want to change the colors to Blue.
I went to this site (http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_colors.asp) but can’t figure out where to take out & insert the blue color into the CSS editor.
Help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can we get a link to your blog please?
The color might have to be changed in a couple places.

The easiest way to find them is to search the CSS (put it into a plain text editor) for the color codes which are #990000 and #CC0000. Those two colors are used for non-visited and visited states, and also for hover state.

Zedick: how did you change the name at the top of your blog (in the grey box) to “Zedick”? Is it your username?
also, did you figure out how to change the colors? I couldn’t even find the color codes #990000.
thanks.

Actually, that is my fault. In the CSS, #990000 hex code is using the “short” hex code of #900, and the #CC0000 is using the #C00 short hex code. (My CSS viewer automatically expands those to the long codes – I have to remember that for the future.)
Search for #990 and #CC0 and those are the places you need to change the colors for the navigation and for the post titles, etc.

Oops, search for #900 and #C00.
Dang it it would at times be very nice to have the edit function back here in the forums.
