Trying to change my blog address to a new one currently free

  I want to change my blog address from irvineconfidentialDOTCOM.wordpress.com to irvineconfidential.wordpress.com that results free.
  The system does not allow me to do this change, because it states that irvineconfidential.wordpress.com already exists. This is false: I have created it time ago and then deleted.

  Why does the system state that the address is already taken although it is currently free?

  I would like that the WP system allow me to change my blog address to irvineconfidential.wordpress.com

  How can I do?

  Unfortunately, a blog address that has been deleted, cannot be restored even by the original owner. The following support document explains the reasons why: Recycling Blog Names.
