Trying to Change my Blog URL

    I began by trying to make a new wordpress blog with the name and URL that I want but I do not want to lose everything that I have done on my other site. I just found out that I can change my URL on my other site but now it says that the site name that I want has already been used. Is there anyway for me to merge the two or close the one so I can just change it on the other one since I am the one that has created both of the sites in the first place. I really hope someone can help me out.
