  I’m trying to take down my site and close my account, but I got an error message saying to contact support.

  Hi there,

  You are unable to close your account because you have an active Akismet subscription tied to the account. You’ll need to cancel that subscription if you want to close the account down. I can make the cancellation for you on my end – just confirm and I’ll take care of it for you.
