Trying to combine a static text box and blog on Odin Home Page

  Hello.

  I am using Odin and it looks great. But I’d like to have a static “about us” blurb (either on top of the Header Image or right below it) and THEN a few blog posts.

  Is this possible with WordPress.com? When I create a static front page, I can’t see my most recent blog entries listed. And every other combination I see just has the blog posts – no static text boxes.

  Is there a solution to my problem? Thanks.

  Be sure to assign the Front Page template to your static homepage. Once you do that, you can start adding content the same areas you see on the demo, like the hero “call-to-action” area and widget areas, where you could add your About Us blurb. You can learn more about how to set up Edin here:
