Trying to connect GoDaddy domain to WordPress account

  I have a GoDaddy domain and want to connect it to WordPress. Followed all instructions but keep getting following error msg: ‘Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.’

  This is my domain name, paid for in 3/23.
  Having a heck of a time with this.

  Hi Lisa!

  Sorry to hear about the issue you faced. I just checked and found the domain is connected now, and it’s loading your WordPress.com site without any issues. If you still don’t see your site at the domain, you may need to wait a while, as DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect.
