Trying to Contact CritCalMass
-
Hi,
I would like to contact CritCalMass, blogmaster of WarAndGame here at WordPress. I would like to use a couple of his images with an article I wrote and need to find the original sources.
Thanks.WorldMilitaryHistory

<<Why not leave him a message on his blog? >>
I wanted to leave a comment on the article with the pictures in question, but there’s a message that says the blog is not currently taking comments.
Is there another way to leave a message? (I’ve only been doing this a couple of weeks:-)

You could Google for his email, but if he doesn’t have a contact form and isn’t taking comments, he’s probably not interested in what other people have to say at the moment.

<<You could Google for his email>>
Thanks. Tried that, too, but no success. The only hits were to his (very many and quite interesting) blog entries.
<<he’s probably not interested in what other people have to say>>
Looks that way. Thanks anyway.

Sometimes people take a temporary break, especially over the summer. For all we know, he could be posting from his phone. Try again in September would be my suggestion.

I got an idea. Write a blog entry about what you wanted to say and link to the exact URL of the story. It will pingback to the author, even if they don’t accept comments, I believe.

Yes, he’ll check it out if he’s even tangentially interested in his stats, which most people are. Be sure to click through the link several times, to get his attention.

<<Be sure to click through the link several times>>Worked like a charm. Thanks for the tips.
