Trying to create a site

  Hello, on Step 3 where I have to select a website URL I choose one and it says ‘Please select a site’ and I tried a different one and the same error message continues to show up. What can I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello Kyle,

  Let’s see if we can solve this for you! First of all, are you trying to set up a custom domain (eg. you.com) or are you registering a free, WordPress.com subdomain (you.wordpress.com)?

  Are you getting any particular error when you try to select your site? It looks like the URL you have provided (https://kyledessent.wordpress.com) has been suspended, so you will not be able to use this particular URL at this time.

  Could you provide a screen capture of what is happening at your end?

  Thanks for offering to help. The blog that posted in that automated signature must be a URL I selected years ago (I don’t know if I ever actually created a site however). Didn’t know that was in existence but can now see it has been suspended so I’ve submitted a contact form for suspended blogs to get help with that. I was selecting a premium URL but any option I selected said “Please select a site” despite one being selected. Perhaps its to do with the suspension?

  What happens when you proceed with selecting the recommended domain? Does it let you continue the process?

  It just reloads and presents the same page with the same error message. Same if I select one of the other options. I’ve tried going back to the start and clicking through from scratch but I reach the same result :[

  Hmm, that is odd! It may indeed be occurring because of your suspended site.
