trying to delete a failed attempt at a website.

  I am trying to set up a new website, Leslie Wibberley Author @lwibberley but in the process, discovered a failed attempt: Lesliewibberleycom which I have been unable to delete.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello @lwibberley,
  You have to first remove these upgrades(if you have them) first before deleting the site:
  • Premium or Business Plan
  • Custom Domain
  • Domain Mapping
  • Premium Theme

  NOTE: WordPress.COM has a 30-day refund policy on all their paid plans, except for Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. The refund period for Guided Transfers ends 30 days after purchase or as soon as your site has been moved, whichever comes first.

  You can still cancel your plans after 30-days but you wont we refunded for your cancellation so it is suggested that you stay on the plan and let it expire.

  If you have a premium theme applied to the site that you are trying to delete, you will have to get help from the staff if you wish to remove the premium theme. If you do not want to remove the premium theme then you can transfer the theme to another site of your WordPress.COM account.

  To get staff assistance in removing the theme, you can tag this question with the modlook tag, so that it gets the staff’s attention.
