Trying to delete a user I can no longer reach to delete site

  • Unknown's avatar

These are the sites I am trying to delete. However, it has the former user as an admin as well and will not allow me to delete the user, change the role or delete site. I was the creator of the sites and the sites are no longer being used. Please help so I can clean up my WP and only have the sites I am ACTUALLY a part of and use.

    https://resumeoriginator.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

    https://psychicsoulsearchers.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

and then I have an issue on this one?http://sensafashion.com/Community/wp-admin/ I don’t have the community anymore and whenever I try to go to the dashboarrd, it goes to my Trisha Trixie WP. I USE the Trisha TRixie WP so I don’t want THAT deleted but I want to get rid of this community? How do I do that, with screwing up the TRisha Trixie WP? something about Akismet ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It says the blog I need help with Trisha Trixie, but that is incorrect. It is the other sites I mentioned

    Hi Trisha,

The three blogs you mentioned, you did not actually create. In each case the other administrator of the blog was the creator, so they are the only one who will be able to delete the sites.

If you’d like I can remove you from each of them however. Let me know if you’d like me to.

In regards to sensafashion.com/Community, this site was a WordPress.org blog which had been connected via Jetpack to your account. If you are not using it any longer, I can disconnect it. This is a non-destructive action which will just disassociate the blog from your account and will not have any other effect.

Let me know if you’d like me to do that too!

For the jetpack: yes disconnect it. As long as it won’t harm anything.

As for the others, technically I DID create them because at the time I had access as their emails. But of course, now I don’t.

Will removing me from them, not show up on My Sites anymore?

Ah, I understand. Unfortunately we still go off of the account which was used to create the site as the owner.

You are correct, if I remove you as an administrator from each of the blogs they will not show up in your My Sites section. You also can just choose to hide them if you’d prefer (if you think you’ll need to manage it going forward). It’s entirely up to you.

And no, removing the Jetpack-connected site makes no change in how your other site functions. I went ahead and removed it.

Nope I wont need them anymore. Thanks. I have tried to get with the clients I created these for and they never get back to me or their emails are now invalid. If there is anyway to remove me, please do so.

Perfect. Let’s get rid of the jetpack too then! Booya! ;) Thanks a mil!

OK, you’re all sorted! All three of those sites have been removed from your My Sites section.

Let me know if you need anything else. :)
