Trying to delete an outdated site, email no longer exists and won't update!

    When I delete the site it says it’s sent a final delete account to the email on file. This email no longer exists, yet when I try to update the email in account settings it says ‘There was a problem saving your changes’.
    I really just need to delete this off the web. Help?

    The problem saving your changes error is often caused by trying to use an email address which is already registered with WordPress.com. If that’s the case you need to choose a different email account to use.

    If you’re sure the email is not being used with a WordPress.com account, post the email address here (forum software will block it so only staff can read it) and add “modlook” to the tags for this thread. That will alert a staff member that you need assistance with this issue.
