Trying to delete site, getting very frustrated

I have a wordpress blog that I have been trying to delete for the last few weeks. I follow all of the steps, but have not received the confirmation email. I have tried several time to no avail. I then tried changing the email address and tried again, several times, with no luck. I am getting very annoyed and just want to be rid of the site now. I have looked at all the support pages and just end up going round in circles. if I see the faces of the ‘happiness engineers’ another time I may punch the screen. They have definitely not made me happy, just very annoyed and frustrated. Please just tell me how to delete my blog, it shouldn’t be that difficult, surely.

The only person/username who can delete the site is the blog owner (the person who registered it on WPcom). If you are not that person, or not logged in with the correct account, you will not be able to delete it.

Hi justjennifer. Thank you for your comment. I am the owner of the blog site and have followed the directions on the support page many times to no avail. I am clueless about what to do next.

The issue is that you are not the owner of http://employabilityandenterprise.wordpress.com/. Only the site owner can delete a site. An admin can initiate the deletion process, but the confirmation email goes to the site owner.
