trying to delete site kirstenadamson.com

Hi There,
I am trying to move my site from wordpress to wix and I can’t seem to find the delete site button. Could you please either delete from your end or advise how I can do so asap. Thanks

If your site is the free WordPress site, here’s how to delete your it.
Log into your account and select the WordPress site you want to delete.
Scroll down on the left side of the menu.
Click on the “settings” option on the left side of your screen.
Scroll to the section titled “Site Tools”. You have two options. One to delete your content and the other to permanently delete your site (this is written in red).
You’ll need to verify some information. Once done your site will be deleted.
If you paid for a domain and set it up on WordPress, this process may different depending on if you purchased your domain from WordPress or another entity.

So I’m logged in to the actual site. Is this different from a wordpress account? So confused as I have googled and can see that it just says to go into settings but this option doesn’t seem to come up in my settings?

Your WordPress account would show blogs you follow and let you select the blogs you currently have.
Are you using your mobile or computer to access your account?

kirstenadamson.com is not a WordPress.com site, and has no connection at all to the WordPress.com account you’re using to post here. You only created this WordPress.com account a few minutes before posting this forum thread.
The site at kirstenadamson.com was built using the open source WordPress software found on WordPress.org, and is hosted with One.com. To take that site offline you’ll need to contact One.com to find out their process for doing this. We’re not able to help you with this in the WordPress.com forums.

Thanks for helping, but just a couple things:
Please don’t refer to “WordPress”. “WordPress” is the name of the software. A “WordPress site” can refer to a WordPress.com or self-hosted site, and there’s no such thing as a “WordPress account”, as WordPress is not a service provider or platform where you can create an account.
To post in this forum and to own a site on WordPress.com you need a WordPress.com account. To own a self-hosted WordPress site you just need an account with your hosting provider – a WordPress.org account is only required to post in the WordPress.org forums or to contribute to the open source WordPress project.
And please check the site a user gives to make sure what version of WordPress they’re using, before providing instructions that might not apply to the site in question.
