trying to delete the Reader

  I open an account but decided the next day I didn’t need it. so I deleted my account but the Reader part still shows up with my name. and I want the whole thing to be gone/ my Reader goes by the name #########(example, not real name) and I want to delete it. please help. thank you

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. You can, however, change your username by following these instructions:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

  what I am trying to do is when I go on certain websites/blogs, I like to leave comments, and I never had problems. but when I opened an account with wordpress and the next day I deleted my account , but the Reader is still there. but now when I try to leave a comment it won’t let me leave a comment unless I sign in to the wordpress and if I don’t sign in I can’t leave a comment. I want to be able to leave comments without having to go to wordpress.

  You can leave a comment by providing your email without logging in to your WordPress.com account.
  It also depends on the settings of the blog you want to comment on.
