Trying to delete this blog.

I somehow ended up w/ two blogs? Don’t have any idea what I did in the wee hours of last evening but I have two blogs: justlivelifetoday.wordpress.com and Ilvinglifetodayblog.wordpress.com ? I’m trying to get rid of them but have been unsuccessful. I’m not getting confirmation emails when I go through the delete process on my dashboard. Can someone please advise?? Is there a way to just inactivate them? This has been a pain! Yes, I understand I’ll lose name and content…permanently…I don’t see any other options? I don’t want people being linked to these sites when I don’t intend to keep them running!! yes, I’ve checked my spam…I get all other emails from WordPress, just not these…thanks!

First off, your second one says it’s been deleted, so you’ve obviously been successful with that. As for the remaining one, if you can’t delete it (though I can’t see why you can’t and I’ll mark this so that staff will come and have a look) the best alternative it to make it private so that nobody else can see it. To do that, go to your dashboard, look down the left column til you see ‘Settings’. Put your cursor over that and you’ll see ‘Privacy’. On the privacy page, check the ‘I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose’ and click the Save Changes button. If you’ve got other blogs and don’t want to see it’s title in the admin bar (the grey bar you see along the top when you’re logged in to your account), click on Dashboard (top of the actual dashboard page on left as usual), then on ‘My Blogs’ and then you can check the box to the left of the blog’s name and choose ‘Hide blog on dashboard’ from the drop down menu, and click the ‘Apply’ button beside it to save your choice. That will remove it from your dashboard and your admin strip. You can go back at any time and make it visible again or keep it the way it is.

I still see both blogs listed on my dashboard. I’ve also not received any emails from wordpress to confirm the delete. I did go in and make them both private and both hidden from my admin. board.

I can delete both http://livinglifetodayblog.wordpress.com/ and http://justlivelifetoday.wordpress.com/ for you, but please understand that this is permanent and neither the blogs nor their names can ever be used again.
