Trying to Edit Profile of My Blog, But Can’t Access It

  Hi. I am new to Word Press. I am trying to change the author name associated with my blog. I read on the forums that I can do this on my profile, but when I click on the word profile in my account nothing happens. Anyone have any ideas where I am going wrong please?

  What is the URL of your blog, starting with http, please?

  That “Edit this information” link that appears in your forum Profile has been dead for a while.

  Instead, click on “My Account” in the grey Admin Bar at the top of this page and then “Edit Profile”. It will take you to the right place in your blog’s Dashboard where you can add a new name under “Nickname” if you want and then “Display Name publicly as” the name you choose. Make sure to save the changes by clicking on the “Update Profile” button at the bottom of that page. You can’t change your username.
