Trying to email posts to my gmail and nothing received

No, nothing to do with account type. It just looks like we have a bug where you’re unable to email your own posts, we’re looking into that.
As for all of the changes in the Dashboard, can you share any specifics, like what exactly changed and when?

Well, yesterday the admin color preference went from blue (my setting) back to default gray. A couple of days ago (can’t remember which day) it went from https back to http.
Yesterday I unchecked Search Engine Terms under site stats in screen options and this didn’t change. When I logged in this afternoon the stats option was unchecked in the Home portion of the dashboard, I didn’t do this.
When I click on Comments I’ve Made just now, it forwards me to my Reader instead. I frequently don’t receive the orange notification of some comments, likes, and follows. I received a notification of a returned follow, when I first logged in, of someone I was already following. But I didn’t receive a notification of your follow. Strange.

Those definitely have to be changed by your account, so I recommend changing both your WordPress.com and email password, as your email address can be used to reset your password. Use strong passwords for both, and don’t forget to log out if you’re logged in at a public place.

That interface will be retired soon and probably won’t receive future updates. I recommend using the new interface at http://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/

Like Stats, Comments I’ve Made is being replaced by the Notifications menu and https://wordpress.com/#!/notifications/ Do you see any missed items there? If not, I’d chalk it up to the same changes you were experiencing before, and you should definitely change your passwords.

I just changed my passwords for my gmail and WP accounts. Then I read a blog post and tried commenting, while still logged into both (email visible only to moderators and staff) and WP, but received this message:
“Are you Viola Indue?
You are being asked to login because (email visible only to moderators and staff) is used by an account you are not logged into now.
By logging in you’ll post the following comment to 7 Basic Blogging Dos and Don’ts:”What does this mean?

That means you’ll need to log out and log back in to WordPress.com.
