Trying to embed Facebook status update in WordPress post

  Is it possible to embed a Facebook status update in a WordPress post? I see that you can do this with tweets from Twitter, but is it possible to do the same thing with Facebook?

  Hi there,

  It isn’t currently possible to embed Facebook status updates in a post on your WordPress.com blog, but we do support Facebook Badges. You can create a Facebook Badge that displays your latest updates (from your Facebook profile or page) in the sidebar on your blog.

  You may also be interested in using Publicize with Facebook — in that case you can post on your WordPress.com blog and have it automatically post to your Facebook profile or page at the same time.
