Trying to enable sharing tools

    Hi,

    I have the sharing tools enabled and showing on my blog on a few articles only. They are enabled in Settings>Sharing and the Live Preview shows them as working. It’s when I view my latest ones (say the previous 10) they are not at the bottom as they used to be?

    Any ideas?

    I am using Firefox 6.0.2 and can clearly see the sharing icons at the end of your posts when viewed on their own pages.

    I can’t see the buttons on the front page.
    Make sure to select “Posts and index pages” for “Show sharing buttons on” setting.

    If you cannot see them at all then you need to do some additional troubleshooting. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

    Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

    Which browser and version of it are you using? Have your tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies

    Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here.

    Do you have third party cookies enabled? Do you have another browser you can try?

    Sometimes operating system and/or security system updates can cause problems so check for known issues.     You can have both Facebook like & share buttons on your posts.

    Excellent. As usual I was having a moment. I was viewing my Home page (where it was not enabled, and shows my latest article), but as you said it is on previous ones. I was hitting the ‘Older Posts’ at the bottom to check this and couldn’t see them, but can now.

    Well, it’s looking good at the moment.

    Thank you for your pointers. I was thinking it could’ve been my use of SSL, but have just ruled that out..
