Hi,
I follow all the instructions given to enable the slider image as shown on the live demo, but the image come across small.
The Post Slider section of the Academica theme guide says:
With Academica, every post assigned with a certain tag and given a featured image will be displayed in the Featured Content Slider on the home page of your site. To enable the slider:
- Navigate to Customize → Featured Content.
- Enter the name of a tag.
- Click on Save & Publish.
Once you’ve saved your changes, posts marked with this tag will appear in the featured content slider if they have a featured image. The suggested size for featured images is 960 pixels wide and 300 pixels high.
Are the file images you set as featured images of sufficient width? And have you assigned the featured content tag to each post that you wish to appear in the slider?
I don’t want the post to be place on top of my other post.
If your front page is set to display the posts page (blog page), then by default it will display all posts, in reverse chronological order. Among the ways this behavior may be modified are the following:
1. You may set a static page as the front page, as is the case in the Academica demo.
2. The number of posts per page can be limited, as long as Infinite Scroll is disabled on the site, by altering the Blog pages show at most setting at the WP admin Reading Settings page, as described in the Reading Settings support page.

Please note that there can be only one featured content tag per site.
