Trying to get an expired custom domain back
-
So I had a wordpress account in the past, and got my custom url, michaeltruhl.wordpress.com. About a year ago I deleted the blog associated with that domain name, but when I try to open a new blog with that same custom url, it tells me that blog already exists. It doesn’t – going to that url says the blog has been deleted. Is there a way an admin could reset this for me so I can get my url back? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

Sorry, no there is no way to get it back. There are clear warnings during the delete process that this is permanent, and those are repeated in the confirmation email sent to you.

You can try for a variation on the old blog name such as michaeltruhl01.wordpress.com or something else.

Well I thought it was just the content and the formatting being erased, not the url completely set aside…
