Trying to get hosting set up

    I am trying to get hosting for my domain set up with bluehost. It says to enter the domain (which I purchased through wordpress) and then to prove it is mine, it says to enter the password. I am entering my wordpress password, but it is not working. Am I doing something wrong here?

    Hi there,

    It may be that the process which you selected to verify your domain is one which is not available. When you say the system told you to enter your password, was it for WordPress.com? That doesn’t seem to be very safe. Do they provide any other means by which you can verify your domain name, such as a DNS entry? I can walk you through that without any difficulty.
