trying to get the photos to fill the width of blog

    I wondered if you could help me with a couple of things.

    I have a twenty eleven theme and a carousel widget gallery on the title page on the side bar. Is it possible to have another carousel widget gallery on the same title page? I’ve tried putting it on the “featured sidebar” but it won’t take, perhaps I am only allowed one.

    On a page is it possible to get the photos to fill to the side of the central scrolling section? Even though the photos average 1300 pixels wide I can’t get them to go any wider than about 640. I have tried changing the size in “edit photo” and it registers in the text as a new size, but it doesn’t translate to the finished page.

    You should be able to add as many as you like, but add them all to the ‘main sidebar.’ The ‘featured sidebar’ only shows if you are using the Showcase Template, which you aren’t currently using. You can read about it under the ‘Multiple Layouts’ section here:

    Try selecting full-size rather than medium when you insert an image, in the size dropdown menu as shown here:

    Then you can size the image down a bit if needed. You can also control what size “medium” and other images show at in Settings->Media here:
