Trying to get this domain to a different provider

Hello, I was not happy with the WordPress.com hosting, so I switched over to NameHero. I requested a refund for the domain issued and I’m trying to access that domain on NameHero, not working though. Wondering if I could get help. Thank you.

Since you canceled that domain, it’ll be released by the end of the week and you’ll be able to register It through your new provider.

Okay, so I just perform a new registration through my new provider and it should work? Or do I need an authorization code to transfer?

As you’ve cancelled the domain, it will be completely deleted and released by the registry in a few days. So at that point you’ll be able to register it as a new domain at your new provider.
To give you a transfer code we’d first need to restore the domain to your account, i.e. un-cancel it. But then you won’t be able to transfer it away from us until you’ve owned it at least 60 days – this is a ICANN rule that applies to all domains at all domain registrars.
If you’d prefer this option, let us know, but otherwise you should be able to do a new registration in a few days :)

I see you registered the domain on the 9th, so it should drop around the 14th. In other words, you should be able to register it again by Saturday/Sunday.
