  I can see you have two types of users (perhaps more): people who host their data on wordpress.com and people who host wordpress on their own systems.

  If you would like constructive feedback, you might consider making the process a bit easier for the latter group. Having to register and create a blog just to send in a suggestion is a bit of overkill, in my opinion.

  WordPress.com is owned by a private company called Automattic.

  WordPress.org is a community run project.

  They are two separate entities.

  If you’d like to contribute to WP.org, a WP.com account is not required.
