Trying to implement FontAwesome on my site

  I want to add an @import tag to my custom CSS file so I can use FontAwesome. On CSS save the @import tag is stripped from the CSS file. Is there a way I can use FontAwesome on my site?

  This is the line I am trying to add to my CSS file:

  @import “//maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.2.0/css/font-awesome.min.css”;

  Hello there,

  Unfortunately, FontAwesome cannot be used on WordPress.com sites.

  The only additional fonts that are currently available to WordPress.com users come with the Custom Design upgrade, which I see you already have.
