Trying to import from blogger getting error message Please upload a valid Blogger export file.

  Hi I went to my blogger profile and found and clicked ‘backup’ (which I guess now is also called export) I saved that filed as an .XML on my computer and when I go to import it I receive the following message ‘Please upload a valid Blogger export file.’ Any help would be greatly appreciated, I’ve spend way too long trying to figure this out today!

  On Blogger, in the “other settings” dashboard, the button I clicked to download an export file was called [Back up Content]. The file I downloaded was called blog-(todays-date).xml

  Is that the file name structure of your Blogger download file?
  Did you upload it here using the Blogger importer on your site’s WP Admin Dashboard>Tools>Import>Blogger?
  Is the file larger than 15MB?

  Yes the file was XTML

  I went to check it this morning and it uploaded ok, I’m not why I got the error messages…but thanks for your help!
