Trying to import from Tumblr with "custom domain"

I don’t have a custom domain on tumblr. I don’t know how to fix this. Please let me know how I can import my blog from there to here.

I tried it. It isn’t working. The url is: http://uschi-the-listener.tumblr.com/ which is not a custom domain. The tumblr title doesn’t even show up in the import box.

No problem. How about we try these few steps and see if that works?
1. Firstly, you need to connect your WordPress account with your Tumblr account. Here is how you can do so:
My Site (s) –> Customiser–>Sharing–>Tumblr
2. Next you can try an import of your Tumblr blog from WordPress.com customiser.
My Site (s) –> Customiser–>Import–>Tumblr (You might not see the Tumblr option immediately, in such a case click on Other importers link and look for Tumblr)
3. Now once you find the Tumblr option in the new pop out window, it will display your list of Tumblr posts/blogs. You can now click on Run Importer, then click on Import this blog for the blog you wish to import.Hope this helps you with importing your Tumblr posts into your WordPress.com site.
