Trying to import WordPress blog to a new blog…

  Where would I find the server/host name and database? That’s what my new blog is asking for to import.

  Are you trying to import TO wordpress.com?

  Nope. I registered a domain/blog elsewhere and it has import instructions if coming FROM WP, but I don’t know where to find host name & database.

  I think the instructions that you are seeing are referring to a self-hosted blog using the software downloaded from wordpress.ORG rather than one hosted here at wordpress.COM.
