Trying to include featured posts in feed on untitled theme

  I just switched to the Untitled theme from wordpress.com and when I create a featured post it removes the post from the regular feed. How can I include this on the feed?

  Also I can’t seem to figure out how to make my feed just have excerpts instead of the whole post. Thanks!
