Trying to incorporate Tell A Friend widget into blog.
-
Hi, I only have a wordpress.com blog. I have been unable to incorporate a Tell A Friend widget > http://tellafriend.socialtwist.com/
Is there any way of doing this with just the wordpress.com account?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The code for most of these services has javascript in it which is not allowed here due to security concerns. There is the “addthis” service which will work here: http://support.wordpress.com/addthis/ .
There are also this procedure: http://hillelstoler.com/2008/05/18/getsocial-social-bookmarking-for-wordpresscom .
And this one: http://archgfx.net/blog/2006/geek/blogging/social-bookmarks-on-wordpresscom .

Or you could just add this to a text-widget in a sidebar: mailto:?subject=Hello%20again&body=http://yourname.wordpress.com

I have been trying to do the tell a friend or forward to a friend too and thought I was just incompetent. I am disappointed to find out there is no such thing. How are we supposed to promote our blog? Geesh!

My blog has in two plus years to attract 430,000 views and I’ve never had to “Tell A Friend” about it. It’s nice to have and I welcome the widget if there is one. I appreciate that some people like it a lot just as I like and sell the idea of FeedBurner’s E-mail Subscription service but absolutely dislike RSS feeds.
