Trying to input Typekit

  • Unknown's avatar

I don’t know anything about the CSS stuff. I signed up for a free trial with Typekit to get some new fonts. I picked it on the Typekit site, but don’t know how to implement it. I wish I were more technologically savy, but this forum has been so wonderful in helping me get set up. I really appreciate the people that have been helping me out.

Also, I’ve tried to check out some of the CSS sites, but I don’t know if it’s too over my head or what. I would really like to personalize my blog as much as possible, any other ideas how to get through the CSS stuff??

    Thanks again!

TypeKit Fonts is a third party provider. They provide their own support http://typekit.com/

If you have CSS editing experience, you can get the paid custom CSS upgrade and renew it annually. It will allow you to stylize the appearance of themes you find here > Appearance > Themes, but it does not allow you to change the functionality, by editing the underlying template. Also note that CSS is theme specific, so you cannot use the CSS stylesheets from other themes with the themes here at wordpress.COM.

Since there is no official support for the CSS upgrade, I recommend that you don’t buy the upgrade unless you have at least moderate understanding of HTML and CSS because you must be prepared to do the work on your own.

If you are considering purchasing the upgrade, you can go to appearance > edit CSS and wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try before you buy.
