Trying to install wordpress, keep getting taken to quick install useless page

On host gator ive tried clicking on the ”get started with wordpress today” link and the ”quick install link” and keep getting directed to a quick install marketplace page where no links work, it dosnt bring up the usual page where you can install word press etc what is wrong here? thanks

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. Your question is specifically for a self-hosted installation of WordPress. You will need to seek help in the appropriate WordPress.org forum.

That site is not hosted by WordPress.COM. Our support docs do not apply to it and you are posting to the wrong support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG and need support for that site in the future and if you do not have a WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
