Trying to Make a New Page but WP Keeps Publishing as a Post

  I’m trying to make a new page (of which I currently have 5) but instead of creating a new tab, WordPress publishes it as a post- sending out an email blast to my followers.
  Is this because I can’t have more than 5 tabs or something? I’ve tried doing it again, double checked that I’m in “pages” and not “posts” but it still keeps happening.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  When you attempt to create a page, do you ever click on the gray button in the top navigation bar with pencil symbol in it?

  No. Tabs is not a possible causative factor.
