Trying to make a slideshow, but no 'continue' option, so a gallery appears instead

    Having already posted, I went back to editing mode to add a slideshow. Moved cursor to the place in the post where I wish the slideshow to be seen and selected ‘add media’ and chose from my media library all photos for it – 26 in all. Perhaps I chose too many? Is there is a limit?There was no ‘continue’ tab available at btm. rt. (only ‘insert into post’). If I choose that, it puts all the photos one after another into the post as a gallery. How do I get the ‘continue’ tab option through which I can get to the choice of a slideshow? I’d be grateful of your help.
