Trying to map domain
-
My domain does not recognize WordPress name servers. I have changed the name servers but the registrar tells me that the name servers are invalid. Please help. Because the name servers ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com and ns3.wordpress.com didn’t work, I had to reregister and pay for my domain for the second time.
Blog url: http://projectglory.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

OK, so my registrar says the name servers have been correctly changed but they don’t work because WordPress hasn’t mapped the domain. Well, I cannot map it, because WordPress doesn’t allow me to do so. I keep pressing “I have already registered this domain and set its nameservers. Add it to my blog.” but nothing happens, the same page keeps popping up.

My blog was previously mapped to another domain, could that be a problem? (Now the domain has other name servers.) Do I need to do something to delete the old domain before mapping to a new one?
-
what is the domain name you are trying to map?
Was it mapped to another blog here at WordPress.COM?
You might need staff help to clear the old mapping – I will flag this for staff attention

projectglory to gblog.fi (not glory.fi). Can this conversation be made private afterwords as it contains private information? Many thanks for your help.

oops, sorry, replied with a different wordpress domain, i have a couple. :) so this is projectglory.

I have manually added a zone record for your domain.
You should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

I’m afraid it doesn’t work. It keeps saying “WordPress.com can’t register gblog.fi.” and I keep hitting the “I’ve already registered” button but I’m stuck on the same page. :(

Please check with them again. The nameserver is reporting as just a.fi. fi-domain-tech.ficora.fi
