Trying to map .us domain and purchase premium plan
-
Hi there! I’m trying to purchase the premium plan for my site and map a new domain. When I click purchase, I get a message to contact support with this error number: (redacted)

Hi –
It looks like this has already been sorted. I see that cindyohalloran.us is mapped to your account with a premium plan. Write back if more help is needed.

Hi! It hasn’t mapped yet. I google cindyohalloran.us and it hasn’t come up. Is it still mapping?

Oh I see the issue — can you please update your name servers? Use these settings:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comAfter you’ve done that, you’ll just need to allow time for the internet to catch up with the new setting.

I did that already on domain.com, or at least I thought I did. Are there any extra steps I could be missing? Thanks!
-
Hmm, I don’t see the changes yet. Can you go back to their interface and confirm the new settings are there?
They may also have a delay before it takes effect.

Can you make sure it does not list domain.com as your name servers too?
You’ll only want these:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comIf those are the only three name servers and it does not work within the next few hours, please check here:
https://www1.domain.com/whois/whois.bml
You can type in your address and click “Lookup” and they will tell you the settings you have (but you’ll need to scroll a bit.)
Right now I see this:

Perfect, it looks better now. Just give the internet time to catch up with those settings now, and you’ll be all set. Cheers!

Thanks!! When I search it now it links to the WordPress site so progress! How do I ensure it says cindyohalloran.us in the address bar?
