trying to migrate my website over to go daddy to standwithbob.ca

    how do I do it . they tried but it says the url standwithbob.wordpress.com is invalid. Is there a helpline I can call at wordpress.com ?

    Hey standwithbob,

    You can export the content from your WordPress.com website and import it to WordPress.org.

    Please check this step by step guide.

    Hi standwithbob,

    it says the url standwithbob.wordpress.com is invalid.

    standwithbob.wordpress.com is a subdomain of WordPress.com, so it won’t be possible to transfer that address to GoDaddy. standwithbob.ca is already registered through GoDaddy so you should be able to connect the domain and site through your account there.

    Content on standwithbob.wordpress.com can be exported with these steps:

    https://move.wordpress.com/exportimport-content/

    Then imported into your new site hosted by GoDaddy.
