Trying to move my site to wordpress.com paid hosting.

Hi there! I’m trying to move my site to hosting on WordPress.com. When I went to add a new site, it directed me to set up Jetpack, which I did, but the only plans I can find seem to be for Jetpack, not for hosting, and once I’m signed in, I’m not seeing anything that’s letting me at hosting plans. Can you please help me figure out where to set up hosting and point me at the resources that will help me move my site to wp.com servers once that’s done?

    Thanks!

    Hi @mwalshe

In order to move your website from self-hosted to WordPress.com.

You can visit our migration support page here.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi mwalshe,

The information @ratneshsonar linked to will guide you through the process of moving to WordPress.com:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/coming-from-self-hosted/

the only plans I can find seem to be for Jetpack, not for hosting, and once I’m signed in, I’m not seeing anything that’s letting me at hosting plans.

Hosting is included in all of our plans so it’s not something you need to purchase separately :)

You will need to go to My Sites and switch to melissawalshe.wordpress.com in order to see WordPress.com plans. melissawalshe.com is a Jetpack connected site, which is why you are only seeing Jetpack plans.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll be happy to help.
