Trying to pick the best plan

Trying to decide which plan will work best. I am creating a website for a new church. It is currently small with not a lot going on. I would like to be able to add a button for tithe.ly so that members can give online. Otherwise I just need to be able to put some information about the church on the page. Also, being new, I don’t want to spend a lot of money starting out. Will personal work for me?

I don’t think any of the WordPress.com plans will allow you to use tithe.ly as plugins aren’t allowed here and that appears to be a plugin designed for WordPress.org sites. The only donation button permitted on WordPress.com is PayPal.

Do you have an example of the tithe.ly button code so I can take a look? If it’s plain HTML, it could work.
You can paste the code here and put it between code tags, or you can copy it into a Pastebin and provide a link.
An important feature of the Premium plan is the ability to add custom CSS. Do you think the church will want to be able to customize the look and feel of specific elements? The free and Personal plans both provide certain customizations, including the ability to choose from a collection of Google Fonts, and with most themes, a few colour palettes, but without custom CSS you can’t make more specific customizations, such as changing the colour of a single element.
