Trying to post to front page of blog
-
my blog has a first page called Beading on a Loom Blog? and a second page called Our Beaded Rainbow Project?
Then there are two categories? Loom Beading and uncategorized. When I want to make a new post it will only come up on the second page. I want it either on the first or better yet maybe a new page. Also when I go to add a new post the only choice I see on where to put it is in the category choices, I tried both of those and it still came up on the second page both ways.
I was just looking and see the draft is showing under posts and as a draft under pages .
I maybe will start a new page, but afraid to totally mess things up unless I know exactly what I am doing. How do I get the post to go on the page I want it on?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is only one page in any blog that we can post to and by default it’s the front page of the blog. Though we cannot post to more than one page we can create the appearance we have done so.
What’s critical is knowing that the static pages we bloggers create will never automatically update. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ Only dynamic Categories pages will automatically update when we publish posts.
Below is an example of a static page URL. Study it closely and note that no static Page can automatically update.

There are many common errors, misunderstandings and misconceptions when creating custom menus and there are some tweaks you can use to improve your custom menu as well.

If you work through it step by step I think you will be able to achieve the display you want.

This is not working, I have tried category, it still goes on the project page, I started a new page for Meet the Artists, that seems successful but I cannot get the new post on it! It still keeps showing up on the other page. I tried starting it as a new post from the Meet the Artist page and it still wouldn’t go there! I need live help person, are they on vacation?

It’s Easter long weekend, so the answer to your last question is: Yes, they are on holiday.
All your blog posts about the project are going to the main blog page, which you have called the Project page. You do not have category pages in your header at all. You have not set up the menu correctly.
