Hi there, I can see that you had initially purchased the Premium plan on one of your sites, but you have cancelled and deleted that original site. This resulted in the refund you see processed here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/
To be sure I understand, you are trying to upgrade intllaunch.wordpress.com instead, yes? What is the domain you are trying to connect? Can you share with us the URL so we can take a closer look?
Then, am sent to a page that says ‘You are not authorized to view this page’….
It can be hard for us to track the source of this down. Can you share the URL of the page you are on when you see this message? Thanks for the additional info!

Also please beware that we answer these in the order we get them, but when you bump your own post it has the effect of “resetting the clock” on your post and moving it to the back of the line again. Thanks.

The site is intllaunch.wordpress.com… I’m trying to connect it to http://www.intllaunch.com, which I own. It previously was actually connected to this .com, but then for some reason, when I go http://www.intllaunch.com, I get the message:
“Something unexpected happened while accessing this website. It looks like it doesn’t have an active domain connection upgrade to link the requested domain name to the WordPress.com site.
If this is your domain name and it has recently stopped working, it’s possible that your plan or domain may have expired. Please log in to your WordPress.com account and review the status of your plan and domain. “
–> that aside, I’m in WordPress, try to connect a domain, it say I need to purchase a plan, which I then try to do, and when I click through to https://wordpress.com/plans/intllaunch.wordpress.com and it says “You are not authorized to view this page”….
As for the plan that was previously purchase and then refunded, that was a different site…..

Hi there,
From what I can see, it appears that the account you’re currently logged in to is an Editor on the site intllaunch.wordpress.com. As an Editor, you, unfortunately, can’t purchase any upgrades or connect domains; those permissions are reserved for the Administrator of the site.
The Domain Connection upgrade for this site was previously purchased by the account that is the Administrator. If this account belongs to you and you’ve simply logged in to a different one, you can log out of the Editor account and log back in using your Administrator account credentials. Then, you’ll be able to purchase a plan and connect your domain to the site.
In case you’re having trouble remembering your login credentials, please feel free to follow our Account Recovery guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/. This will walk you through the process to regain access to your account.
If the Administrator account is owned by someone else, you can ask them to either connect the domain or upgrade your role to an Administrator. As an Administrator, you’ll have the necessary permissions to connect the domain.
I hope this clears up the confusion. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re here to help.
