Trying to purchase sub domain mappping.
-
When I try to complete the purchase there’s a notification in red at the top of the page that tells me I have to create a CNAME record to point to the wordpress.com address. I’ve done this and quadruple checked it. Has anybody encountered this before? Any resolution? Thank You
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Here’s the guide:
Map a subdomain (for a domain with an existing website) to your WordPress.com blog – if you already have a website you don’t want to affect, and you want to add a blog to it under a subdomain (for example, blog.yourgroovydomain.com).I also tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Hi!
Could you try this one more time? Occasionally, it can take a few hours for the CNAME record to propagate. It looks like the record is correct. Let me know if you still have trouble!

I've tried again and receive the same message. I created this CName days ago and have done everything I can think of even things that didn't make a whole lot of sense like different browsers/computers/networks/credit cards/paypal etc….
Please let me know how we can resolve this or if there's anything I can do on my end. Thank You.

Hi!
I went ahead and manually added this for you. You can see the subdomain here:
https://niftyimagesblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
Can you try setting it as the primary domain to make sure the subdomain works correctly?
